Paula Kopczynski is a german-based fashion/vintage photographer who've just released her first photo book 'Grace and Glory‘ with about 200 pictures, all about rockabilly, 50’s, vintage, PinUp, Burlesque, HotRods and race car racing…
"As a creative, free spirit, I dedicate this book to my passion fervor for the mid-century. I combine the self-conception of the modern Lady and the contemporary masculinity with the glamorous look of that period. Those men and women are self-confident and in proper-style. They know what they want and they know how to style themselves." says Paula.
To collect all these images, the author traveled throughout the world. The photos were shot in Europe, America, Australia, South Africa and Russia between 2009 and 2014.
FACTS: For this project, Paula used both analog and digital cameras. While the book is mainly shot with a digital medium format camera, some pictures were also taken with a 50's analog camera and a polaroid.
